Do You Have a Personal Escape Plan?
What are you escaping from? Your job, debt, bills, or being average? Were your dreams delayed? Did you get sidetracked because… life showed up? You are in prison and I have the key. I am your warden and you are up for parole. I can reduce your sentence and set you free (I have the system but only you can set yourself free).
You have a choice. Make a decision to succeed. There are some requirements for your freedom. Most people do not qualify. You will have to work. It requires high levels of faith. Personal development is a must. Managing your time is critical. You will make sacrifices and there will be consequences.
Action words like persistence, consistency, diligence, and perseverance have to be used every day. These words scare people. These words make people quit, cry, and turn them into complainers. Self-confidence is required for your release. A healthy self-image and the willingness to persist against roadblocks, obstacles, and doubters is also a qualification.
It’s Simple, not Easy
Your personal escape plan is simple but not easy. Work comes before success and you have to go through the grind. What is the grind? The grind is the learning curves, the failed marketing plans, doubts, fears, and the time it takes to build your personal escape plan.
A home business is your personal escape plan. It will help you escape that job you hate. A home business can help you become debt free, retire your spouse/partner, send your kids to school, save you from foreclosure, and give you the lifestyle you always wanted.
The Truth about Your Plan
The truth is it will take hard work especially if you are new to the home business industry. There are no push-button success plans. Your business depends on you. There are no write-ups for being late or absent. There is no guaranteed paycheck. You get paid after the sale. To get those sales you have to learn marketing or have a marketing system made for you.
Let go of those misconceptions of easy plug-and-play systems that promise wealth without work. They don’t exist. Athletes, entertainers, and millionaire entrepreneurs all work hard for their money. They train, get educated in their field, and surround themselves with a mastermind group to help them reach their goals. The same goes for your personal escape plan.
Most People Fail at Their Plan
Most home businesses fail due to a lack of effort, training, persistence, and consistency. The entry level is easy to get in and that makes it easy to quit. Then you have shiny object syndrome where home business owners hop on the next New Thing. They get aboard the next new product launch. The next new marketing technique. They become jacks of all trades and masters of none.
Your Success and Personal Escape Plan
Your success depends on you and only you. Choose a business that compliments your strengths and talents. Find products and services that you like to use and that you feel enthusiastic about selling. Then find a business success system that will help you market and sell.
Franchises have a successful business model. Business owners are provided with sales and marketing material. Vendors and suppliers are provided. Plus they go through training as business owners.
You deserve the same treatment. You need to find and follow a successful home business model. These are the key to your success. This is part one of a three-part series. Next week I will give you 7.5 Elements of Your Personal Escape Plan.
