I am going to explain to you how to be successful. Are you broke, unemployed, stuck at a dead-end job, or just not happy with your life? How did you get to this point? Do you have any regrets? Flush those negative thoughts down the toilet.

You are a success! You have accomplished some successful things in your life. Here is a secret. Act like it! Act successful now! Practice success in your mind and then act it out every day. Don’t know how?

Here are 6.5 steps to Act Like It:

1. Make a Decision – Decide now that you will be successful in your business. Decide on how much money you want to make per month. How many sales will your business generate? Get clear on your outcome. Know your end result. Get a goal-setting program and follow it so you can get to where you want to go.

2. Learn to Visualize – Spend 30 minutes every day visualizing yourself as a success. Play out a mental picture of yourself succeeding in every part of your business. Some people like to picture themselves in a movie, watching themselves being successful, and replaying the scenes over and over.

Imagine yourself performing every task successfully. Imagine yourself completing sales, giving outstanding presentations, and creating marketing campaigns.

3. Read 30 Minutes Everyday – Leaders are readers and everything you want to know about being successful in your business is in a book. Read books on personal development, sales, marketing, and personal finance. I find it better to get the audiobook and read along with it. This way you are hearing and mentally speaking the book at the same time.

Listen to audio training too. Turn your downtime into learning time. Turn your car or public transportation into an audio university.

Taking Action

4. Play the Part – I told you to visualize and imagine success. Now play the part. Act like it! Bring that mental picture to life. I imagined myself taking vacations, going to sporting events, and making sales. Did I have the money? I still took those days off and I went to the arena or stadium for the sporting event.

I visualized what I wanted to do and I took action. Thoughts are things. Everyman made object began with a thought. You have the power to do the same thing. If you don’t have the means to live the lifestyle you want act like it anyway. Go do it and do whatever it takes to get it done.

5. Daily Mastermind – Plug into a mastermind group of like-minded people. It could be Toast Masters International, a local Cashflow 101 club, or a mastermind call. Daily interactions can help you reach your goals faster. Learn from people who are successful at what you do. Gain from their experience.

The Next Steps

6. Schedule for Success – Nothing happens until it is scheduled. Schedule your day the night before so your unconscious mind can prepare you to carry out everything you write. What you focus on you will accomplish. Ten minutes of planning saves hours of execution.

6.5 Choose Happiness – Happiness is a choice and not influenced by outside forces. Happiness is in the present and not the future. Your success and happiness lie in your mind and you have to make a conscious decision to have it. If you continue to put your happiness off you will fail. When you say I will be happy when I get that new car, that new house, new clothes, or make those sales… you are setting yourself up to fail. Happiness is never a future thing. It only happens in the present.

Action Assignment

You now have 6.5 steps to act like it. Athletes do it, entertainers do it, successful entrepreneurs do it. Put these steps into action. Practice every day and it will become a successful habit.
